When a community school in Lusaka reached out to us, they had one request: "We need a computer lab, and we need it fast." Their ICT students had been learning theory from textbooks with no practical exposure to actual computers. We delivered a fully functional 15-workstation lab in under two weeks. Here's how.

Day 1–2: Assessment & Planning

Our team visited the school to assess the space — measuring the room, checking power availability, evaluating security, and discussing the school's specific curriculum needs. Within 48 hours we delivered a detailed proposal with equipment specifications, a floor plan, and a timeline.

Day 3–7: Equipment Procurement & Configuration

We sourced 15 desktop computers, monitors, networking equipment, chairs, and a printer. Every machine was pre-configured at our facility — operating system installed, educational software loaded, and networking tested — so installation on-site would be plug-and-play.

Day 8–10: Installation

Our team set up workstations, ran network cables, installed a projector and whiteboard, and configured the local network. By the end of day 10, every computer was on, connected, and ready to use.

Day 11–12: Teacher Training & Handover

We spent two days training the school's teachers on lab management, basic troubleshooting, and how to integrate the computers into their ICT curriculum. On day 12, students walked into their new lab for the first time.

The Result

The lab now serves over 200 students weekly. ICT pass rates improved within the first term, and teachers report dramatically higher engagement. More importantly, students who had never touched a computer before are now confidently using digital tools — and that's exactly why we do this work.
